Better Than Gold
Godly wisdom and knowledge of the Word will always be worth more than gold, silver, or any other material on earth.
Material goods are only of value on this planet and in this physical existence; but when you try and measure them up to the worth in the things of God, silver and gold don’t come anywhere close.
Godly is forever; material worth is temporary. Set your eyes on the correct things and avoid pursuing things that will not benefit your life in the long run.
Prayer
Dear Lord God, I am aware that the things of this world are only of value in this world and nowhere else. I thank you, Father, that I know that concerning myself with all things that pertain to You – including wisdom and understanding – are heavenly treasures that will benefit me beyond this lifetime. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
